Waukesha, Wisc. (July 15, 2009) – After a home track win at Road America, James Gang/Hoban Brothers Racing heads into the midpoint of the Moto-GT season at Mid-Ohio with momentum and a major boost in the championship. “We had a couple of tough rounds early on at Daytona and Road Atlanta, but we did well in the wet conditions at Barber and Road America,” said co-rider and team co-owner Paul James. “We’re in the hunt for the title and we’re gunning to get back on the box.”

With the class win at Road America, James Gang/Hoban Brothers Racing moved up to sixth place in SunTrust AMA Pro Moto-GT1 points, just 22 points behind the Liberty Waves Buell Racing team with five rounds remaining. And AMA Pro Racing rules that require teams to complete 70% of the laps of the race winner in order to score points should make for a close finish. “It was great to win at home, especially for our local sponsors H-D/Buell of Appleton and Hoban Brothers,” said teammate Jeff Johnson. “There’s a lot of racing left and we can’t wait to get back out there.”
