AMA Privateer Reno Karimian To Return To Action At Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

Team Reno owner/rider Reno Karimian will return to racing this weekend, July 3-5, in the AMA Pro Road Race event at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Karimian broke four bones in his right shoulder and upper right arm in a crash during the AMA Pro National Guard American Superbike event at Auto Club Speedway in March. Karimian had surgery at the hands of noted orthopedic surgeon and track day enthusiast Dr. Thomas Bryan and has undergone three months of physical therapy to prepare for his return. Karimian races in the American Superbike class.
