Scot Harden, Vice President of Global Marketing – Zero Motorcycles Last week Zero Motorcycles announced that Scot Harden joined the company as Vice President of Global Marketing. Harden, who comes to Zero from BMW/Husqvarna, brings more than 40 years of racing, management, product development and brand building experience in the motorcycle industry to Zero. Throughout his career, Harden has held executive sales, marketing and race team management positions with a proven record of success in expanding market share and enhancing brand awareness for leading European motorcycle OEMs, most notably KTM, dating back to 1982. He returned to BMW/Husqvarna in 2008 and served as the National Marketing Director and Race Team Manager prior to making the jump to Zero. www.zeromotorcycles.com Dane (Wolverine) Westby, Daytona Sportbike Rider – Project 1 Atlanta Currently in 6th place in the Daytona Sportbike class, Westby has had a pretty good season so far. His best finish was his 2nd place at Daytona which he followed up with a 3rd place finish at the first race at the Auto Club Speedway. He has picked up a couple more 3rd place finishes since the Auto Club race, most recently at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The team is based out of Georgia and runs Graves Motorsports Yamaha’s. Westby raced in the Daytona Sportbike class in 2009 and finished in 18th overall. From the Managing Director of the National Off-Road Bicycle Association to the Competition Director for Mountain Bike Racing at the 1996 Olympic Games to NHRA’s Pacific Division Director. Brian has a diverse background that he puts to use daily. The Raceway hosts some of dirt racing’s biggest events like the Knoxville Nationals and Lucas Oil’s Late Model Knoxville Nationals. www.knoxvilleraceway.com Justin Brayton, AMA Pro Motocross Racer -Team Muscle Milk/Toyota/JGRMX This year was a successful one for Justin Brayton where he finished 5th in the 450 Supercross class. The Outdoor National series just concluded and Brayton ended up 12th in points after sitting out the first two rounds due to an injury. Also this year he competed in the Moto Super X event where he took the silver medal. Justin is a Fort Dodge, Iowa native and has a growing fan base worldwide. www.jgrmx.com Nick Paluzzi, AMA Pro Motocross Racer -Team Muscle Milk/Toyota/JGRMX This year Nick race Loretta’s in the 450 Pro Sport and 250 Pro Sport. When Josh Grant got hurt JGRMX offered Nick a fill-in ride on the team for the last two nationals. At Steel City, with minimal time on the bike, he came out swinging and finished an impressive 10-8 for 7th overall.
