AMA Pro Racer License Applications Now Available

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (November 25, 2008) – Membership and license applications for the 2009 AMA Pro Road Racing season are now posted and available at amaproracing.com. All competitors and others planning on participating in the 2009 season are encouraged to read and review the information and submit the applicable forms to AMA Pro Racing headquarters as soon as possible. Entrant membership applications, rider membership and license applications for competitors at the AMA Pro Superbike, National Pro Expert and National Junior levels and applications for crew, vendor and sponsor memberships are all included in the 14 pages of forms and guidelines, which are available directly at ~http://www.amaproracing.com/prorace/pdf/2009_SB_and_Ntl_Pro_Comp_license_app.pdf~ Participants are encouraged to review the information in its entirety and complete the required applications in full prior to sending them to AMA Pro’s Daytona Beach offices. Licenses will only be processed at the AMA Pro office and applications must be received no later than 30 days prior to a competitor’s first race of the season. The 2009 AMA Pro Road Racing season will begin at Daytona International Speedway the first weekend in March, which will be highlighted by the first Daytona 200 by Honda under the lights, Friday, March 6, for the Daytona SportBike division. The Daytona kick-off will also include American Superbike and SuperSport races as well as other AMA Pro Road Racing divisions.
