AMA Pro Racing Expands Marketing & Communications Department McCrystal Joins AMA Pro as Marketing & Communications Specialist DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – AMA Pro Racing announces the recent hiring of Lauren McCrystal as Marketing & Communications Specialist. McCrystal will manage promotions, partner services and corporate communications. No stranger to the racetrack, McCrystal started her career in motorsports in 2003 and has worked in public relations, marketing and competition departments. She gained experience in motorsport corporate communications, account management and competition services. After four plus years in motorsports, she switched gears and moved to the meetings and events industry, where she designed and managed high-end incentive trips and corporate pharmaceutical meetings throughout the country. “Lauren has already worked with the senior leadership of this organization, and she brings a wealth of experience,” said Ollie Dean, AMA Pro Racing Vice President of Marketing and Communications. “Because she has worked in multiple motorsports departments, she has a unique skill set. We are happy to have her back in Daytona Beach, but more importantly, at AMA Pro Racing.” Her primary duties in the office will include corporate and technical communications and generation of partner collateral and advance media outreach. At the track, McCrystal will serve as the liaison to series partners and SPEED TV. McCrystal is a proud graduate of The University of Florida, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. She received her MA in Communication from the University of Central Florida.
