AMA Pro Racing Posts Updated 2009 Road Race Rulebook Online

Document Provides All Rules and Regulations for AMA Pro’s Four 2009 Road Racing Divisions DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (January 27, 2009) – The 2009 AMA Pro Road Racing Rule Book – which provides all of the regulations and rules for this year’s AMA Pro American Superbike, AMA Pro Daytona SportBike, AMA Pro SuperSport and AMA Pro SunTrust Moto-GT divisions – is now posted and available for download at www.amaproracing.com. The 115-page AMA Pro Road Racing Rule Book includes all of the relevant and specific information and guidelines that competitors will need to follow in order to compete in each of the four road racing classes. This includes the updated general equipment standards for all divisions, licensing and credentialing procedures and requirements, competition race rules and procedures and a variety of other specific topics and regulations that are important to all AMA Pro Road Racing competitors. All AMA Pro members and competitors are encouraged to download the 2009 AMA Pro Road Racing Rule Book as soon as possible in order to prepare for the first week of competition at Daytona International Speedway, March 4 – 6. Each of AMA Pro Road Racing’s four classes will be part of the season-opening Daytona event which will be highlighted by the first Daytona 200 by Honda under the lights, Friday, March 6, for the AMA Pro Daytona SportBike division. The weekend also features the Daytona Supercross by Honda on Saturday, March 7.
