Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California plans to host an AMA Pro road race on March 26-28, 2010, although the track hasn’t yet received sanctioning papers from the Daytona Motorsports Group (DMG), which currently operates the AMA Pro Superbike Series. That’s the word from Auto Club Speedway Director of Communications David Talley. Auto Club Speedway is owned by International Speedway Corporation, which also owns Daytona International Speedway and which is controlled by the France family. ISC Chairman Jim France is the founder of DMG, which sanctions and promotes the AMA Series.
