AMA Pro Racing Suspends Flat Track Racer Dalton Winkler For Violating Substance Abuse Policy

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Dalton Winkler, rider of the No. 35S motorcycle in AMA Pro Flat Track’s GNC2 class, has been suspended indefinitely from AMA Pro Racing for violating the sanctioning body’s substance abuse policy.

On April 29, 2015, Winkler was found to have violated Appendix B (AMA Pro Racing substance abuse policy) of the 2015 AMA Pro Flat Track rule book.

As outlined in the rule book, AMA Pro Racing next will provide Winkler a letter outlining a process for reinstatement. By agreeing to the terms for reinstatement, he will be allowed to participate in the Road to Recovery Program.
