Tickets on Sale Now for Historic AMA Flat Track Doubleheader AMA Riders Get First Look At New Flat Track During Test DAYTONA BEACH, FL Tickets are on sale now for the historic AMA Pro Racing Flat Track doubleheader on March 3-4 at Daytona International Speedway, the first time Flat Track racing will take place on the historic grounds of the “World Center of Racing.” After traditionally being staged at Daytona Beach Municipal Stadium, the AMA Pro Racing Flat Track events have a new home beginning in 2010 on a quarter-mile lime rock dirt track located in the West Lot outside of Turns 1 and 2. Part of Daytona 200 Week By Honda, tickets for each night of Daytona Flat Track racing are $25 for reserved seats, $20 for general admission standing room only and can be purchased online at http://www.daytonainternationalspeedway.com or by calling 1-800-PITSHOP. “We can’t wait to see the stars of AMA Pro Racing Flat Track battle on our new Daytona dirt track,” Daytona International Speedway President Robin Braig said. “We’re excited about the addition of this new venue to our historic racing facility. The Daytona Flat Track is certainly going to be a coveted ticket and we encourage all of race fans to get their tickets in advance.” On Thursday morning, three AMA Pro Racing riders-Cory Texter, Shanya Texter and Brandon Robinson — shook down the new Daytona dirt track for the first time. “I’m excited to come back and ride now,” Cory Texter said. “When I heard they were building it right outside the Speedway, that doubles the excitement. You can get a lot more (fans) in here. People who don’t want to travel so far out to the old stadium to watch us, now it’s right outside the Speedway.” Tickets for the AMA Pro Racing Flat Track race and all races during Daytona 200 Week By Honda can be purchased online at www.daytonainternationalspeedway.com or by calling 1-800-PITSHOP.
