AMA Pro Road Racing will begin on-track activities at Daytona International Speedway at 2:00 p.m. local time, beginning with the National Guard Superbike class. Practice was originally scheduled to start at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, but rain during the morning resulted in a wet racetrack and a delayed start. The tentative schedule for Thursday afternoon includes 50-minute practice/qualifying sessions for Superbike, Daytona SportBike, SuperSport and Vance & Hines XR1200, running in that order.
