Josh Day returns to racing at Mid Ohio in the AMA Daytona Sportbike Class for the first time since Daytona. He will once again ride for Four Feathers Racing(4FR) made possible by a very special effort that was put together by Audrey Menarik of Moto Liberty, a valued 4FR team partner. “After the purse money was nearly eliminated, even when we were told it would stay the same as Daytona all season, it left Josh out cold with no funding for his ride and unfortunately the team could not cover the cost. Audrey called me to ask what it would take to get him back on the grid and then went to work on it. It is refreshing to know and feel the appreciation that Moto Liberty has expressed in our team and Josh. He is a great rider and a pleasure to work with, he is exactly the kind of person that we want to help with our team.” said team principal Scotty Van Hawk “I thought it was such a shame, that a good rider and a good kid like Josh didn’t have a ride after a very promising start to the Daytona 200. But the fact is, racing costs money. I must have learned a thing or two from back in the Moto Liberty racing days. I couldn’t really afford to sponsor Josh on my own, but I do have a store and I know sponsors are interested in selling product. So I went to a few of my suppliers and they’re helping me put Josh on the grid. This wouldn’t have happened without the support of RS Taichi, Arai, Knox Armor and Puma Boots!” said Audrey. “Be sure to see the sponsor’s products on display in the Four Feathers pit at Mid Ohio. Four Feathers recognizes that stickers on a bike doesn’t cut it when it comes to doing a good job for your sponsors….. you have to go the extra mile. Scotty has done an incredible job of giving visibility to his sponsor’s products.” she concluded. Four Feathers Racing is proudly partnered with Toyota, Scion, Lucas Oil, MavTV, GreenerAcres, FMG, Moto Liberty, RS Taichi, Arai, K&N, Race Tech, GP Tech, and StreetFX.
