Loganville, GA: Back for more. After an unwelcomed hiatus, SuperSport rider Jake Morman is back for the AMA Supersport East Championship round at Barber Motorsports Park in Leeds, Alabama. After fully recovering from significant injuries sustained during a Friday morning final qualifying crash at Daytona’s harrowing turn 2, the “Squirrel” is fit and ready to go. Patience being the key, the #34 is looking forward to being faster every time out on a track he knows well. With no illusions and a firm respect for fellow SuperSport competitors, this rider is ready to challenge. “I am so glad to be back on the bike full time, it’s been a long break for me. I have been working really hard to get the ankle and knee in excellent shape for this coming weekend” says Jake. We will be riding a newer R6 for the remainder of the season and I couldn’t have done it without the help of Huey, Ray and the rest of the gang at Marietta Motorsports. They have really come through for me and I hope to be able to put it on the box. Jake would like to thank all of his sponsors, The Schwantz School, Marietta Motorsports, Arai, Dainese, Pant Saggin Dezigns, Dunlop, HotBodies, Ohlins USA, Motul, K&N, Galfer Brake Lines, Rich DuBarton, Dwayne Hopper, Adam Howard, and Carol Butler.
