CONNER BLEVINS 2013 RACE SEASON REVIEW Conner Blevins has had a busy 2013, racing in his first full season in the AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport East Championship and in the entire 10-event CMRA Championship Series, as well as working at his full-time job and bicycling regularly. Conner’s finishes as a true privateer in the AMA Pro SuperSport Series are his best to date. As the only rider in the SuperSport class on a Kawasaki, Conner had four top-ten finishes with a sixth place in race two at Road America and seventh and eighth place finishes at Mid-Ohio. In the ten races that made up the East Championship, 18-year-old Blevins finished a more-than-respectable sixth place overall. In the ultra-competitive CMRA regional race series, Conner finished as the #2 points-earning rider in the 2013 championship, with multiple wins and podium finishes in 600cc and 750cc classes on his Kawasaki ZX-6R. His impressive 2013 record includes the #2 plate, class championships in C Superstock and C Superbike, 17 wins, 13 second places and 8 third place finishes, and, just for fun, as a team rider on the front-running Lone Star Track Days endurance team that finished fourth overall for the season. “I have had a great 2013 season,” said Conner. “Being able to run the whole East championship really helped move me forward as a rider, and racing with the CMRA has kept me sharp in between the AMA races. I’m really confident as I get ready for 2014, and the season can’t start soon enough.
