AMA Pro Teams Testing In Preparation For Round Two Of GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing Series

Several teams and riders are testing today in preparation for Round Two of the GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing Series, scheduled for May 31-June 2 at Road America, in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing’s Martin Cardenas and Chris Clark are riding their GSX-R1000 Superbikes today at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway, in Desert Center, California. Cardenas and Clark are testing for one day just to ride and get back up to speed before heading to Wisconsin, Cardenas told Roadracingworld.com May 8. Foremost Insurance/Pegram Racing Yamaha’s Larry Pegram, Monster Energy Graves Yamaha’s Josh Hayes and Josh Herrin, Pilot Travel Centers/Wacker Racing’s Reese Wacker, and YES Graves Yamaha’s Cameron Beaubier and Garrett Gerloff, meanwhile, are riding today at NOLA Motorsports Park, just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana.
