The AMA Superstock race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca was halted on lap six of 17 for a crash involving race leader Jake Holden. Holden needed medical attention in the impact zone of Turn Six, forcing the race to be stopped. The resulting delay did not leave enough time to run the remainder of the Superstock race before the scheduled start time for the Supersport race, which is slated to be aired live on SPEED Channel. The AMA Superbike race at Laguna Seca is scheduled to be televised live at 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time. The remainder of the Superstock race (10 laps) has been postponed until the end of the day. Holden was transported to the medical center at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for further evaluation. At the time of his crash, Holden had just taken the lead from Blake Young when Young got wide in Turn Two. Geoff May and Aaron Yates were also running in the lead group when the race was stopped.
