Month Go Ride Together! is the theme for week two PICKERINGTON, Ohio — AMA Go Ride Together! week, sponsored by the American Motorcyclist Association, launches today during the second week of AMA Go Ride! Month. AMA Go Ride Together! week showcases the fun of riding with family, friends and co-workers, including AMA clubs and the online motorcycle community. Throughout AMA Go Ride! Month, the AMA is providing motorcyclists nationwide with information, entertainment, contests, prizes from Helmet House, Shoei, HelmetLok and Bikebandit.com. Riders looking to ride together need look no further than the AMA Up, Down, All-Around Flash Tour, a special edition of AMA Flash Tours with a contest for street and dirt riders. AMA members are invited to photograph a trip to the highest, lowest or most remote part of their state, or an historical or cultural landmark unique to the state. Each week a winner will be selected to receive a Helmetlok next-generation lock and cable set. Another weekly contest, Freedom Friday, alerts riders to important issues that pose threats to motorcycling freedoms. This week the AMA is focusing on health-insurance discrimination against motorcyclists, one of the most important issues to AMA members. AMA members are encouraged to send in photos near hospitals, ambulances or anything medical-insurance related to illustrate their concern as a motorcyclist.
