‘AMA TRACKSMART SERIES’ COMING TO LAS VEGAS IN NOVEMBER PICKERINGTON, Ohio — The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) has announced the “AMA TrackSmart Series: Strategies, Safety & Success,” a new conference series designed to benefit and educate organizers of motorcycle and ATV competition. The inaugural conference will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 15, 16 and 17, 2007, in conjunction with the annual AMA Racing banquets. The AMA TrackSmart Series will offer seminars, roundtable discussions, guest speakers and workshops covering a wide range of subjects and procedures critical to the safety and success of AMA-sanctioned competition. Topics will include track design, maintenance and safety, marketing, advertising and promotion, customer service, community relations and risk management. More details about the AMA TrackSmart Series curriculum and cost will be announced soon. “The new AMA TrackSmart Series offers an unprecedented opportunity for event organizers to achieve greater success through not only a broad scope of educational seminars and workshops, but also by allowing organizers from across the country the chance to meet each other and share proven strategies and best practices,” said Patricia DiPietro, AMA Chief Executive Officer.
