WERA and CCS competitor Brandon Cretu will once again return to the Isle of Man for the prestigious TT races this season. He will be competing in both Supersport races aboard a 600cc machine backed by his title sponsors, HEL Performance and BikeBitsNI.com.

The exact model of bike has yet to be determined but Irish Bike Magazine will once again provide the bike and it will ride on Race Tech suspension.

Brandon will be protected by REV’IT! leathers and riding gear customized by Spyder Leatherworks. He will also wear SHARK Helmets provided by BikeBitsNI and Alpinestars boots from RidersDiscount.com. All decals for the bike will once again be provided by long time supporter, Chris Kruzel of Drippinwet.com.

“2010 was a dream come true for me to be able to compete in the TT races, I can’t believe I am getting the opportunity to return. I can’t thank the organizers enough for having me back!”

2010 marked Brandon’s first year competing at the TT and he is currently the youngest American to ever compete illustrious event. “Everything has come together really well so far but a lot of work still needs to be done to make sure myself and the team is ready for the TT at the end of May. My goal is to go over and really enjoy the experience, but I won’t lie, I have my sights set on a Bronze replica this time around. It will be tough but if I think it is attainable for me.” says Brandon.

For those unfamiliar with the TT races, it is considered the ultimate test of man and motorcycle. Held once a year on the Isle of Man, a small island resting in between England and Ireland, it regularly attracts thousands of spectators from all over the world to partake in the festival and watch the amazing races. The course is over 37 miles long and snakes across the entire island’s public roads which are shutdown for the races to take place. The 2011 TT starts on May 28 and lasts until June 12. 2011 will mark the 100th anniversary of the TT Mountain Course and is looking to be one of the biggest and best TT events ever!

“I cannot express enough to fans of racing and motorcycles in general, how much of a spectacle the TT is and what an amazing trip it would be for anyone to make once in their lifetime to watch. The people on the island are so welcoming and everyone loves motorcycles, it is a motorcylists paradise for 2 weeks! I encourage everyone to make the trip to the island at least once to watch the TT!” Brandon explains.

Brandon would like to thank all of his amazing sponsors who have signed up for another successful year at the TT.
