American Flat Track: Springfield Mile I Postponed Due To Weather

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (September 4, 2021) – Saturday’s Springfield Mile at the Illinois State Fairgrounds has been postponed due to inclement weather and rescheduled for Monday, September 6, 2021.

The schedule for Sunday’s Springfield Mile event has been adjusted to provide time for track preparation in the morning. Gates will be opened for fans at 12:00 noon local time with Opening Ceremonies scheduled for 1:10pm and on-track activity scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m.

Springfield Mile promoters and AFT officials are continuing to monitor developments in the weather forecast and will communicate any additional information to fans via AFT’s communications channels.
