American Nathan Gouker, the two-time MotoAmerica Mission Mini Cup by Motul Ohvale 160 Champion, raced as a wild card in the Moto5 class in a Finetwork MIR Racing Cup event on Friday, December 8 at the Cartagena Circuit, in Spain.

According to father Phillip Gouker, Nathan qualified third in spite of it being his first visit to the Cartagena Circuit and only his second time riding a Moto5 bike.

Race One was run in wet-but-drying conditions, and Nathan Gouker was able to come out of a 10-bike battle at the front and finish in fifth place.

Then in Race Two, Gouker was running in second place until the penultimate lap when he was demoted to fourth. Gouker tried fighting back on the final lap but came up 0.08 second short of the podium and placed fourth.
