Team Traction control are gearing up the final round of the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship as James Rispoli and Joe Francis aim to end their campaign on a high at Brands Hatch in Kent.

Rispoli arrives at the final round with high confidence after securing his best result of the season at Silverstone with a pair of second place finishes, narrowly missing out on the victory in the Feature race and is aiming to go one better this weekend.

Francis meanwhile is keen to build on his top ten finishes from Silverstone and is aiming for a top five finish in the two races this weekend.

Rispoli said: “I am going for the dub! I think we have some really good form at the moment and we have found a good rhythm. Over the last few rounds we have shown we have the pace to battle at the front and we just missed out to Glenn [Irwin] at Silverstone so we want to go that one place better for sure at Brands Hatch. We were in the top three throughout the weekend at Silverstone so that has to be the target again. We need to keep that momentum going now and we want to come out and try to beat Luke [Stapleford] fair and square on track as he is the best in the class. We need to step up and I want to do it for the whole team this weekend.”

Francis said: “I think this weekend we want to push on again after a good weekend at Silverstone. I think we can start trying to close the next group this weekend and I think we can fight for the top six or perhaps even a podium if the opportunity is there. I feel that the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit has always suited me and hopefully we can have a good end to our season.”
