Anthony West Sets New Lap Record At New Mexico’s Arroyo Seco Raceway

Australian Anthony West set a new motorcycle lap record for the clockwise direction at Arroyo Seco Raceway near Deming, New Mexico on Sunday, November 15th during the Evan Steel Performance Formula Arroyo race at 1:05.95, breaking the record set by Jake Holden in 2013 of 1:06.16. West was riding a ZX-10R prepared by Jeremy Toye and running Dunlop slicks. West is sponsored by by Speedcell, Area 57, Evan Steel Performance, Arma Energy, Twigs Jewelry, Diesel Ops and Syndicate Motorsport Mgt.

Tomas Puerta set a new 600cc lap record for the clockwise direction at the November 15 ASMA Races at Arroyo Seco Raceway near Deming, New Mexico. Tomas was riding a borrowed 2014 Kawasaki ZX-6R on Dunlop slicks, and set a 1:07.77 during the Middleweight Superbike race in the afternoon.
