        “Back in the late 90s and early oughts my race team, Army of Darkness, brought at least one new motorcycle every year to feed to the maw of WERA endurance racing. Back then, a season consisted of 10 rounds spread out around the country and our oversized (649cc) Suzuki GSX-R600 engines only lasted for about 16 hours of race use, which meant we were either racing, or rebuilding top ends, pretty much every weekend of the year.
