MotoGirlGT, Legacy Track Dayz, and Team Motrac USA to start an all female racers program with CCS/ASRA in the Florida region at Roebling Road Raceway in August!!!
The CCS/ASRA Florida region will begin adding races for the MotoGirlGT Roadracing program in the Florida region which is designed to help bring more new female racers into the sport.
Legacy Track Dayz will be the official track day and Roadracing school for this program in
Florida, and they will be hosting a 2 day event at Jennings GP in July where they will be holding their accredited school to help any ladies wishing to get their licenses for racing. They will have several MotoAmerica racers attending as well as Legacy STAR coach Jamie Astudillo who will be working with owner C.J. Cohen directly to help these students get classroom and on track instruction from him and Jaime to help prepare them for their start in racing.
Legacy and the sponsors of the Jennings GP event are offering a special promotion for any
ladies who sign up for the school for the July 6th and 7th event. The normal entry fee for the school is $125, but moving forward for this program with MotoGirlGT, Legacy Track Dayz, Team Motrac USA, their youth racing mentor Frank De La Renta, and Florida region representative Nicole Marie Ball will be providing the school through Legacy for only $50 to help minimize the cost to help them get started. Cost for the track day is $150 per day in addition, with the school being held on Saturday with a mock race for all the students and coaches to give them a taste of what to expect from an actual race.
After speaking with Angela Izzo Sink from MotoGirlGT, she will be getting behind this program with Legacy and CCS/ASRA Florida region, and adding a MotoGirlGT Superbike race and MotoGirlGT 500 Superbike race in August for the Roebling Road Raceway event with CCS/ASRA to see how well this program works in that region.
With MotoGirlGT and Legacy Track Dayz both being directly involved with CCS/ASRA already, the event at Jennings GP and at Roebling Road Raceway will both prove to be monumental.
