Attendees of 2015 AMA Championship Banquet, presented by Nationwide, could win DB 50 SR minibike
Prize will be part of social media contest
PICKERINGTON, Ohio — Attendees at the 2015 AMA Championship Banquet, presented by Nationwide, on Saturday, Jan. 23 in Columbus, Ohio will have the opportunity to win a DB 50 SR minibike donated by DRR USA.
By using #AMAchampions15 and tagging @ama_racing on Twitter and Instagram throughout the banquet, attendees will have a chance to be featured on AMA social media accounts and also be entered to win the DB 50 SR.
“We are excited to be supporting AMA racers and are proud to be able to present a DB 50 SR to an attendee of the 2015 AMA Championship Banquet,” said Louis DeCuzzi, president of DRR USA. “We hope that it will help a child get started in racing or further their racing career.”
The DB 50 SR is 50cc two-stroke, air-cooled minibike featuring a 23-inch seat height, a wheelbase of 34.25 inches and a dry weight of 83.8 pounds. It retails for $1,699.

The banquet will honor competitors who placed first, second or third in AMA National Championship Series and at AMA Grand Championship events during 2015. Class champions will receive medals and AMA No. 1 plates at the banquet, while second- and third-place finishers also will receive awards.
The banquet also will include the raffle drawing for an original condition 1986 Honda CR250R motocross bike. All proceeds from the raffle benefit the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. One chance to win is available with a $5 donation, or five chances are available with a $20 donation. The final chance to purchase tickets for the raffle bike is at the banquet.
The Hyatt Regency, where the banquet will be held, is a full-service hotel and conference center in the Greater Columbus Convention Center at 350 N. High Street in downtown Columbus. It is less than 25 minutes from AMA headquarters and the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in nearby Pickerington.
The program will include dinner, door prizes for champions, a reception and a bike show. Attendees also are invited to attend an open house at the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame the day before the banquet on Friday, Jan. 22.
