From a press release issued by Red Flag Fund: ROB JOHNS & RANDY SWARTZ HOLD AUCTIONS TO BENEFIT RED FLAG FUND Almost $5,000 raised for injured racers Rob Johns and Randy Swartz operating as “Track Attack”, held three track days at Jennings Grand Prix in Jennings, Florida February 16-18 sponsoring auctions and collecting donations for the Red Flag Fund (RFF). The Red Flag Fund provides support to the motorcycle roadracing community, specifically through financial assistance to racers who have been seriously injured through sanctioned motorcycle roadracing competition. “I’m very excited to have Rob and Randy put on this fundraiser on our behalf. Their dedication and commitment to the sport of roadracing is outstanding. The money they generated comes at the perfect time as we kick off the 2008 season,” said Red Flag Fund President Jeff Kufalk. The days raised a total of $4,792 by auctioning off prizes such as one-on-one instruction days with AMA racer Keith Marshall and motorcycle instruction courses at Penguin Race School in Winchendon, Massachusetts, Star Race School located at tracks throughout the United States, and Ed Bargy Race School in Canton, Georgia. More than 100 people were in attendance, including well known AMA racers Josh Herrin and Keith Marshall. The Red Flag Fund is always accepting donations for live and silent auctions, and operates solely off of the support of businesses and individuals around the world. Red Flag Fund, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable company formed to provide financial assistance to seriously injured motorcycle roadracers, as well as educate motorcycle riders on the importance of proper safety gear.
