Motorcycling Australia (MA) and the Yamaha Motor Finance Australian Superbike Championship supported by Motul Pirelli (ASBK) are pleased to officially launch the brand new website, www.asbk.com.au.
The lead up to this season has seen more exciting developments in the ASBK than ever before, as the entire championship kicks into gear and is catapulted high into the media-sphere, with the incredible announcement earlier this week that the ASBK will be broadcast live on free to air television as well as being live streamed from round two in 2017.
In a total re-vamp, the new ASBK website has been developed to offer more flexibility and greater functionality across all smartphone and tablet devices. As the majority of ASBK fans utilise mobile technology to access websites (according to research data), asbk.com.au is now optimised for those devices. The ASBK website also focuses on easily accessible information on the riders, teams, classes and the championship more than ever before.
The ASBK has listened to its users and fan base and has gathered feedback in relation to the old website over the past few months. Topping the wish list for many users was; an easy to navigate interface, an interactive experience and a sleek modern design. The main features of the new website design allow riders, teams, fans and sponsors quick and easy access to essential information, media and competitor documents.
Motorcycling Australia Operations Director, Martin Port shared his excitement; “We are really motivated to build the ASBK into a world class show as many exciting developments this year have already shown, and our new championship website is part of that commitment. The uncluttered design and information presentation it provides for fans, sponsors, riders, teams and media is essential to better get the necessary information out to our audiences. We believe that this new site will allow our visitors to have a very informative experience as we continue to grow the ASBK.”
The ASBK website will be updated on a regular basis with all the championship news, photos, video, live stream content, media releases, rider bio’s, events, and sponsor information. Visitors are encouraged to explore the website and sign up for direct emails from [email protected]
Along with the incredibly exciting live streaming function, many other elements have been included in the new site, including;
