Avintia Racing will compete with Ducati bikes from 2015 season
Spanish MotoGP team Avintia Racing has confirmed this Friday at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli during the San Marino Grand Prix- the agreement from the next season with Ducati Corse to compete with the Italian bikes. An agreement that, initially, will cover at least the 2015 and 2016 seasons and by which Avintia racing will have the Italian bikes for both of its riders. These prototypes will equip from next year the Open ECU that will be mandatory for all the MotoGP bikes from 2016, an important development work where both team and factory will be involve. Ducati will provide Avintia Racing the Desmosedici GP14. A step forward for Avintia Racing that increases its sporting aims after three hard years of working development in the Avintia MotoGP bike.

?This agreement with Avintia Racing is really important for Ducati Corsi because it will allow us to use our bike with the Open electronic before the arrival of the new regulations in 2016.
