New team to contest CCS, WERA, USGPRU, and MotoAmerica fielding youth racers….

Laura Ellis had a vision to start a new road racing team. Her dream was to field a team using only young racers and secure funding to make this dream a reality. Well, today her hard work and determination has yielded a team. Laura is proud to announce that AXcess Racing, LLC will be gridding up with two riders at select CCS, WERA, USGPRU, and MotoAmerica races for 2016. Jackson Blackmon, 14, and Ophelie Zayat, 18, will be the team riders. Both riders will be competing on KTM RC390 Cup bikes. 

The mission is to provide a rewarding and enjoyable experience for young rider athletes so that they may develop a lifelong passion for the sport of motorcycle racing and to encourage development of a greater fan base for the sport of motorcycle racing. 

The mission is to also promote amateur and professional moto racing in North America. AXcess Racing, LLC also wants to support young racers who need financial help and to promote sponsors of the team. 

Laura has years of experience on and off the track. She has put together a team of professionals to help oversee the project. David Behrend will be looking after the suspension, chassis, and assume the role as head mechanic. Seth Starnes will be the coach for the riders on and off the track. Cam Morehead will be the talent scout for future riders. Laura even has Adam Combs as a fitness coach and Trina Pistor as a nutritionist for the riders.
