Babuska Wins CCS Unlimited Grand Prix At NJMP

Frank Babuska, Jr. won the Unlimited Grand Prix at New Jersey Motorsports Park on his Yamaha YZF-R1 after leading all six laps of the race. Babuska was gridded on the third row and dove through the field in front of him to take an early lead in the race. Behind him, James Shepherd and Richard Smith battled for second place while trying to catch the leader. But, Babuska was methodically working his way to a nine second gap over second place with his fastest lap time of 1:6.321 set in lap four. Behind him, Timothy Bemisderfer had worked his way through traffic from a sixth row start and into second place. Babuska took the checkered flag without challenge. Bemisderfer, finished second and Shepherd third.

CCS Atlantic and MidAtlantic regions will compete next at Summit Point Circuit May 28-30th. The event will also include ASRA and USGPRU sprint races. .
