Winter Garden, Florida ( September 25, 2008)– Celtic Racing will finish it’s season at Laguna Seca for the Corona AMA Superbike finale with Florida resident, Michael Barnes. Michael Barnes started with Celtic Racing at the opener in Daytona. He qualified for a front row start and finished the day with a 6th place finish in the Superstock class. This stat paved the way to several positive performances throughout the season. “I am looking forward to wrapping up the season with Celtic. I started with them at Daytona and it is always great fun to race with them. I will be racing in both the Superbike and Superstock classes,” notes Barnes. ” It seemed fitting that Barnes finish the year with us. We look to another strong performance from Michael,” adds team owner Barry Gilsenan. Celtic Racing has plans to return to the sport in 2009.
