Former BQR Honda and Repsol Honda 250cc Grand Prix rider Martin Cardenas of Colombia finished 12th in the AMA Supersport race on a Suzuki GSX-R600. Dirk Sanchez of Mexico finished 27th in the AMA Supersport race on a Suzuki GSX-R600. Sanchez finished 17th in the AMA Formula Xtreme race. Former FMV Venezuelan Superbike Champion Fernando Amantini of Venezuela finished 33rd in the AMA Supersport race on a Kawasaki ZX-6R. Carlos Rodrigues of Venezuela did not qualify for the Supersport race; he was 46th fastest in Supersport qualifying on a Kawasaki ZX-6R, but the race is limited to the 44 fastest qualifiers.
