Bazzaz Sponsors Canadian National Amateur Superbike Class Toronto, ON (May 4, 2012) – The 2012 Canadian Superbike Amateur National Championship class series will be sponsored by Bazzaz, Frontline CSBK principal Kevin Graham confirmed today. The series, launched in 2011 to compliment the feature Pro Superbike division, will be titled the Bazzaz Amateur Superbike National Championship. “It’s great to have Bazzaz join us as an official class sponsor,” explained former racer Graham. “This agreement came about through racer and tuner input, and we want to do our best to listen to competitor needs and suggestions. Many racers and teams have requested the option of using Bazzaz products in the Canadian series, so we have homologated the Z-FI QS fuel injection/quickshift units for this year’s CSBK Sport Bike classes and Z-FI TC fuel injection/quickshift/traction control units for our Superbike classes.” “Ammar Bazzaz is confident regarding Canadian product demand and his company’s excellent distribution here in Canada,” continued Graham. “That status allows us to proceed with Bazzaz corporate support of the Canadian National tour.” According to the U.S. based Bazzaz boss, “we’ve been able to come to an agreement with Motovan, a leading distributor of Powersport products, to handle Bazzaz technology in Canada. This relationship has been phenomenal, and the intense interest we have enjoyed with our customers in Canada is truly exciting for a small, but growing, company like ours!” “We love motorcycle racing world-wide,” smiled Bazzaz. “When the opportunity presented itself to join forces with CSBK on the Canadian National series, we knew we needed to jump on board. We know that the control systems we make at Bazzaz are a perfect fit for the Canadian National rule structure, plus we want to give back to the sport, specifically in Canada. Our fuel, quick shift and traction control products are well received in Canada, and I want to thank Kevin for all he has done to make this deal a reality. Everyone at Bazzaz can’t wait for the start of CSBK 2012 at Shannonville Motorsport Park on June 24.” Last year’s inaugural Amateur Superbike National Champion was Jody Greening of Burlington, ON, who utilized both Honda and Yamaha equipment during his successful title campaign.
