Fastest in second qualifying today, Cameron Beaubier will begin fourth in Daytona Sportbike, giving him his first front row start in the class for only his first full AMA season. Tyler O’Hara, fourth fastest in second qualifying, captured a provisional 13th place start, looking to work his way up the Daytona Sportbike pack as he always does. No stranger to riding in the rain, O’Hara won his Top Gun Supersport championship in such rainy conditions last year. In Supersport, rider Sebastiao Ferreria placed a provisional 10th. “The team is getting consistent results, improving every round. The rain here this weekend is just another challenge we are ready to work through,” comments team owner Ameen Sajjadi.
