BEi RACING / DUNLOP DEVELOPMENT HEADS WEST FOR A NEW CHALLENGE TO START THE 2014 ENDURANCE SEASON.

After 3 consecutive WERA National Endurance overall titles in 2011 to 2013, BEi Racing / Dunlop Development will be facing a new challenge in 2014 competing in the new U.S. National Endurance Series presented by Lucas Oil. This new series is a joint effort by WERA and CMRA designed to continue the history of endurance racing in the US as well as bring more competition to the track. For the first round the team will head west to Texas World Speedway in College Station, TX over the March 22nd – 23rd weekend for the “8 hours of Texas Endurance Race” hosted by CMRA.

Tim Bemisderfer, who has ridden for BEi in all 3 of their championships will return to the team along with team owner / rider Billy Ethridge. To strengthen the team for 2014, Sean Dwyer and Dustin Dominguez will also be joining the squad. This will help especially with the first race being an 8-hour and being able to have a fast and fresh rider on the bike during all of the stints.

For 2014 BEi Racing / Dunlop Development will continue competing with their proven Suzuki GSX-R 1000’s rolling on US made Dunlop slicks. Vesrah USA / MCJ Motorsports will be providing both stopping power with Vesrah brake pads as well as driving force with MCJ Motorsports endurance spec engines using Yoshimura products. Thermosman will be handling the suspension including utilizing JRi shocks. Long time team sponsors Spiegler Brake Lines, Pit Bull, RK Racing Chain, Super Signs, American Supercamp, Dynojet, Dion Device and Chicken Hawk are all continuing with their support of the team. Arai Helmets, Vanson Leathers, Sidi Boots and Motonation will be outfitting Billy Ethridge.

Billy Ethridge – BEi Racing / Dunlop Development team owner:

“I’m looking forward to the challenge of competing against the Texas based teams of the CMRA in this new series and hoping to continue with our success and being able to keep our patriotic # 1 on the bike. I have to thank Dunlop for their continued support, especially Tony Romo for coming to the track, providing guidance and helping with our pit stops. The addition of Sean and Dustin in combination with Tim returning should prove to be a formidable effort.”

BEi Racing / Dunlop Development would like to thank their sponsors for the 2014 season: Dunlop Tires, Suzuki, Vesrah Brakes, MCJ Motorsports, Thermosman Suspension, Spiegler Brake lines, Arai Helmets, Vanson Leathers, Sidi Boots, Yoshimura, JRi Shocks, Motonation, Pit Bull, RK Racing Chain, Super Signs, American Supercamp, DYNOJET, Dion Device and Chicken Hawk Racing.
