Racer Benny Solis’ racebikes and equipment are stranded due to a broken transporter on eastbound I-10 about 3-5 miles from Sierra Blanca, Texas, past the immigration checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, about 35 miles before Van Horn, Texas.

Solis is looking for help to get his two racebikes, two awnings, a tool box, and assorted plastic boxes of tire warmers and spare parts to the racetrack for this weekend’s event.

Solis can be reached on his cell phone at (818) 220-2635. His father Ben, who was driving the disabled transporter (a Fun Mover) can be reached on his cell phone at (323) 610-1060.

Update from Ben Solis, Sr.: “Thanks for putting out the message that we were broken down. We received a lot of support and assistance. We would like to thank everyone for their help as well as support. We made a few new friends as well. We are up and running and should be arriving at the track around 3 a.m. [Thursday].”
