Roadracing World Young Gun and 2008 Red Bull AMA Rookies Champion Benny Solis comments on his upcoming AMA Pro SuperSport debut at Daytona, aboard a Honda CBR600RR: “This year I’m excited to be racing in the AMA Pro SuperSport class, it’ll be my first year racing in AMA Pro. In 2010 it was my first year ever racing a 600. I did a full season of WERA Nationals with Graves Yamaha and it was an awesome year for me! I was able to take three championships and now that I’m 16, I’m able to race in AMA Pro. Unfortunately it didn’t work out with Graves Yamaha, but I’d like to thank them for giving me the opportunity to get my first championships on a 600. “I was able to put together a last-minute deal with Roadracingworld.com and Erion Honda so I can start my season in AMA Pro SuperSport at Daytona. I’ll be racing the West Coast Supersport Championship. “I also would like to thank the rest of my personal sponsers that made this happen: Red Bull, Shoei Helmets, Alpinestars, Dunlop Tires, Oakley, Drippin Wet, Brant Wiwi my personal trainer, Bert Silos from concept-five.com, and a BIG thanks to Sam Dominguez, his family, and Alan Mork for making an awesome fundraiser for us to make it to Daytona, plus all the amazing friends that attended and supported! “Keep up with me and my latest updates at Benny Solis Fan page on facebook.com or add me on my personal page!” More, in a video from Shoei: Be sure to check out other Roadracing World feature videos.
