Bimota Motorcycles announces industry veteran Dan VanEpps to guide global strategy Rimini, Italy Bimota Motorcycles, manufacturer of premium handcrafted Italian sport motorcycles, confirmed its renewed commitment to the specialized motorcycle segment with the addition of industry veteran Dan VanEpps in a leadership role in the company. “Since the rebirth of Bimota in 2003,” says company Chairman Roberto Comini, “we have focused on product development. Now we are ready to aggressively position ourselves in the global market, partnering with the best dealers and distributors worldwide. Dan’s depth of knowledge in this business and international experience are a perfect fit for the needs of our company”. Since his youth and for more than 30 years, VanEpps has worked in the motorcycle industry. His background includes great brands such as Ducati and Husqvarna. From his technical beginnings and racing motorcycles he rose to positions that include head of U.S. operations for Ducati, and on to Ducati’s European headquarters in Bologna Italy as Senior Manager of Product Development and Director of Product Marketing. “Bimota Motorcycles are so impressive when you look at the details” VanEpps noted. “In my experience, in terms of fit and finish and quality, no other motorcycle compares.
