BIMOTA RACING PREVIEWS THE 2015 ISLE OF MAN TT

Iconic Italian motorcycle manufacturer, Bimota, will return to the Isle of Man TT next week for the first time in 15 years. The team is very excited to continue their season after a successful outing at the Northwest 200 a few weeks ago where both riders, Ben Wylie and Brandon Cretu, secured top 20 finishes and proved the strength of the Bimota BB3 on the roads.

Constantine Blias, Team Principal commented: “I have dreamed of this day for a long time and I believe this will be the first time since 1999 that Bimota have taken part in the Isle of Man TT races. I am very proud to be a part of the team that has brought the worlds most exotic motorcycle manufacturer to the world’s most prestigious road race. To mark this occasion, Bimota have produced road going replicas of the bikes we will race and we have brought with us the first of these, in both BB3 and Tesi form. The bikes Ben and Brandon will race are basically standard out of the box and we will be proving just how good Bimota are by posting some competitive results. Bimota have always been the mouse that roared and we plan to continue this tradition. I would like to thank Bimota and all our sponsors for their support and hope to make them proud.”

The Isle of Man TT starts on May 30 with practice for Newcomers, Supertwins, and Sidecars. The Bimota team will turn their first laps during the practice on Monday June 1 with the rest of the Superbikes. Wylie and Cretu will race their Bimota BB3’s in the Superbike race on June 6, the Superstock race on June 8, and the Senior race on June 12.
