From a press release issued by Birchall Racing: Birchall Racing’s Ben and Tom Birchall, are pleased to announce that they will be competing in the 2008 FIM Superside World Sidecar Championship series, when they will be concentrating their efforts in making a strong challenge for the World title. The confirmed dates are as follows: May 2/4 – Mugello, Italy, DTM June 20/22 – Sachsenring, Germany, Superside June 26/28 – Assen, Netherlands, MotoGP July 11/13 – Sachsenring, Germany, MotoGP August 15/17 – Rijeka, Croatia, Superside September 19/21 – Le Mans, France, Truck Championship/Superside final A future announcement is expected to be made regarding a date for a British round. Ben and Tom also plan to enter selective rounds of the British F1 Championship.
