BLUSENS by PARIS HILTON RACING TEAM RIDERS READY TO REPEAT THEIR OUTSTANDING ASSEN PERFORMANCE AT GP OF ITALY AND CLAIM THEIR SECOND DOUBLE THIS SEASON Mugello, 29th June 2011. The GP of Italy will be held this weekend at the difficult Mugello circuit which is once again totally unknown to Maverick Viñales but where Sergio Gadea has already reached the podium as he finished second in the 125cc class in 2007 and repeated the same result last year in Moto2. The two Blusens by Paris Hilton Racing Team riders are coming to this eighth round of the MotoGP world championship after claiming their first double on the podium last Saturday and are really keen on keeping it up. Only seven races into the season Mack -who achieved two wins at Le Mans and Assen, three podiums as he finished second at Montmeló and two pole positions at Silverstone and Assen and who also became the youngest rider of all time to achieve the Grand Slam (pole, fast lap and win) at GP of Holland last week- will once again attempt to be competitive during the practices, get familiar with the track layout and get a good qualifying position at the QP in order to do a good race and achieve a good result. Roses-born rider is fifth in the general ranking and the best rookie in the 125cc class. For his part Sergio Gadea -after his excellent performance in Holland which enabled him to finish third and reach the podium for the second time after he did so in Qatar- will be riding on a track where he has already got excellent results so he can hope to be battling for a win. 25 MAVERICK VIÑALES: “We have been doing a great job and we have been adapting to each and every circuit unknown to us very quickly so far and that’s why we have been doing so well. I hope I’ll follow the same line at Mugello. It is said to be the most complicated circuit of the calendar but I am not impressed at all. We will be sticking to our routine -going for a walk on the track on Thursday in order to explore its bends, lines and asphalt so we won’t get any bad surprise during the practices- and then do a good job on Friday and Saturday so we can get a good position on the starting grid. I am feeling very strong thanks to the results I have achieved in these seven races and I am not under pressure at all in spite of the early records I have set which I find quite motivating. Anyway the most important thing to us is to carry on working the way we have so far. I had a very nice and emotional reception at Roses City Hall on Saturday night and I realised I had many supporters. It is important to me to have a fan club and I am very proud of it. It is very stimulating and helpful to know they are around me when I am abroad.” 33 SERGIO GADEA: “I am feeling very happy at the moment thanks to what I achieved at Assen but I have got my feet on the ground and I am aware we have to carry on working hard if we want to do as good as in Holland. We have got a very good set-up and the chassis is perfect as usual. The truth is Brazzi is a machine that sets up the bike and I am thankful for that. But the big change is that last week we managed to set the engine all right once and for all and this is fundamental here in Italy as this track requires an engine that works at full capacity. I think we solved the issue which held us back which was a lack of acceleration and top speed. That’s the reason why we could never get the lead and we spent too much time without being able to battle for a good qualifying position and that’s pretty tough. We were always lagging far behind. I think we figured out what was wrong and I do hope we will carry on like that at Mugello. This is the most difficult race of the season but I really love it and if everything is in order I think I’ll be able able to ride very fast. Last year I finished second in Moto2 and in 2007 I was only twenty thousandths away from a 125 win. My goal here is to stick up to the front and win. Even though I know it’s hard my objective is to battle again for a win and given the result at the previous GP I am feeling very optimistic and confident.”
