BMW Motorrad UK offers complimentary trackday experience with new S 1000 RRs. Take to the track and learn to use the RR’s phenomenal performance and cutting-edge electronic rider aids. Customers purchasing a new BMW S 1000 RR this spring will be given the opportunity to experience the full potential of their supersports motorcycle on a complimentary BMW Track & Training Day worth £295. The BMW Track & Training Day, created by BMW Motorrad UK and trackday specialists Focused Events, provides riders with the opportunity to get the most out of the S 1000 RR and get to grips with its advanced Race ABS and Dynamic Traction control features. Riders will enjoy six generous on-track sessions and short, informative classroom sessions covering the essentials of circuit riding and the RR’s many cutting-edge features. Special areas, including a wet track section for testing Race ABS and cornering sections where instructors will guide riders through setting up and feeling the traction control, ensure that RR owners and fans will finish the event with a full understanding of the electronic assistance on offer and the skills to use them on a circuit. Attendees will get to meet and be instructed by one of three star riders: World Superbike champion Neil Hodgson, ex-GP rider Niall Mackenzie or TT and BSB rider Steve Plater. By the end of the action-packed day, riders will be more confident, feel more connected with the RR and be better able to use their motorcycle in day-to-day riding. BMW Park Lane Race Support will be on hand to offer expert technical advice, from tyre choice and electronics settings to suspension set up, modifications and the vast range of BMW HP parts available for the S 1000 RR.
