DENVER, Colo. (April 5, 2012) – M1 PowerSports has named Bobcat of Atlanta as the Official Heavy Equipment of the Triumph Big Kahuna Atlanta presented by Dunlop Tire and LeoVince. Bobcat of Atlanta is an independent, full service, authorized Bobcat dealer with two locations based in the metro Atlanta area, and when the Big Kahuna returns to Braselton, Ga.’s Road Atlanta on April 20-22, 2012, the heavy equipment dealer will be expanding the entertainment experience through interactive fan contests using actual Bobcat loaders and excavators. “We strive to create exciting and innovative entertainment options that are fun for the whole family,” said Cameron Gray, CEO of M1 PowerSports. “The Big Kahuna is all about having fun, in fact one of our mottos is ‘Come for the Party, Stay for the Race’ and this new partnership is a product of that mindset. We’re thankful for the support that Matt and the Bobcat of Atlanta family have given us and look forward to an exciting event.” Bobcat of Atlanta has experience with event promotions and fans can expect a challenge. Their previous contests, which pit fan-against-fan on actual Bobcat equipment, have included challenges that will put even the best operator’s skills to the test, and will still be fun for those with little to no experience on the machines. These rare and fun opportunities will give fans an idea of the raw power of the Bobcat brand of heavy equipment. “We’re really excited to get to the track,” said Matt Cochran, Sales Manager of Bobcat of Atlanta. “This will be our first Big Kahuna experience, and we’ve heard so many good things about the events. We’re looking forward to seeing it for ourselves and getting in on the action.” M1 PowerSports rider Colter Dimick, who competes in AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport on the No. 606 Yamaha YZF-R6 and hails from Fort Collins, Colo., will also be supported by Bobcat of Atlanta for the Big Kahuna Atlanta event weekend. Watch for Dimick and the M1 PowerSports staff cruising around the facility on fully-featured Bobcat Utility Vehicles all weekend long. Tickets for the Triumph Big Kahuna Atlanta begin at just $20 and that event is just the first of three M1 PowerSports-promoted events on the 2012 AMA Pro Road Racing calendar which make up the 2012 Triumph Big Kahuna Triple Crown.
