Two individual events running back to back will create one of the most unique and exciting motorcycle events in the world. Starting September 4 on the Bonneville Salt Flats, vintage and classic bikes will be able to do their best Burt Munro impersonation during The BUB International Motorcycle Speed Trials on the Bonneville Salt Flats with the special addition of AHRMA race classes. Stock vintage bikes will also be able to do official timed runs and earn an official timing slip and certificate suitable for garage bragging rights in the “Run What You Brung” category. On Sept. 7th the event moves to the new $100 million dollar Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah for one day of practice and two days of AHRMA vintage road racing. Classes include everything from handshift Indians and Harleys to the exotic sounds of Norton Manxes & Matchless G50s to modern Ducatis racing in the Sound of Thunder class. For the first time at the Bonneville Vintage GP and at Miller Motorsports Park there will be the exciting introduction of Formula 1 & 2 and Vintage Sidecar Racing. Speeds can reach over 160 mph with the passenger hanging on just inches from the track. For the second year there will be the exciting LeMans start Battle of the CB160s where as many as 40 are expected to be on the grid. A restored, safety wired and ready to race CB160 will be raffled off on Sunday. AMA Hall of Fame Legend and Daytona 200 winner Don Emde will be Grand Marshal doing parade laps, chatting with fans and signing autographs. A Concour d’Elegance celebrating 100 Years of the Isle of Man TT sponsored by Motorcycle Classics Magazine will be held in the Miller Motor Museum on Saturday with a rolling Concours on Sunday. A custom bike show sponsored by Worth Customs will on Sunday in the Miller Motor Museum. Also on tap will be a swap meet, vendors, and Police Motorcycle Competition.
