Bostrom, Hayes To Pull Double Duty At Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

Cypress, California, July 1, 2009″¦.Yamaha Factory Racing stars Ben Bostrom and Josh Hayes are scheduled to join their Graves Motorsports teammates Josh Herrin and Tommy Aquino in the AMA Daytona Sportbike class at this year’s AMA round of racing during the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca on July 3-5th. Both riders will compete on the championship winning Graves prepared R6 for the second time this season in addition to their roles on the Factory Racing prepared R1’s in the American Superbike class. Their first appearance this season saw Ben Bostrom earn the victory in the Daytona 200 and Hayes in the lead pack until very late in the race when a spill ruined his chances. “Winning the Superbike race at Infineon was great but Daytona is unfinished business” said Hayes “and we look forward to another shot at the win on the R6 at Laguna”. “I can’t wait to return to Laguna on the R6″ said an enthusiastic Bostrom, “it’s always a great race and we want to be in the thick of it”. Both the Yamaha Factory Racing and Graves Motorsports teams headline a great weekend of AMA action at the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix.
