Boulder Motor Sports announced today at Miller Motorsports Park its intention to participate in the 2009 FIM Superbike World Championship on Ducati 1098 RS motorcycles. The team will field two riders, with one definitely being an American. Boulder Motor Sports raced in the AMA Formula Xtreme Championship in 2007, running its operation out of its Boulder, Colorado high-performance Ducati shop. The Boulder Motor Sports World Superbike race team, however, will be based in Italy. The team has a good financial foundation but is currently looking for additional sponsors.
