Rain Curtails Action At Donington Park
The weather was the only winner today when heavy rain washed out the day’s action meaning tomorrow will host all three races from the penultimate round of the 2020 Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Donington Park.
With Datatag Extreme Qualifying also postponed, it means VisionTrack Ducati rider Josh Brookes will start tomorrow morning’s first race from pole position courtesy of fastest time in free practice with teammate Christian Iddon on the second row.
Both of Paul Bird’s riders are well in contention for the title but face a busy schedule with three races in a day for the first time in the history of BSB. Round 13 takes place over 15 laps at 11.15 with Round 14 set to go at 14.15 over the same distance. The final 15-lap race starts at 16.40.
