DAYTON, Ohio. (March 13, 2013) — Brock’s Performance, one of America’s leading developers and suppliers of go-fast parts for motorcycles and the exclusive North American distributor of BST carbon-fiber wheels, is proud to offer $88,000 in contingency support for the 2013 AMA Pro Road Racing Series. Top-five finishers in AMA Pro Superbike and Daytona SportBike races using Brock’s Performance exhaust systems can cash in on $1500 per race, the winner taking one-third of the pot. Over the course of each 13-race series, that’s a total of $39,000 per class. In SuperSport, $6600 is up for grabs. First-place finishers take home $250, the runner-up gets $200 and the final podium spot has a $100 reward. With potential championship bonuses factored in, the program’s grand total is $88,150. Brock’s Performance is not new to helping support the sport. Racing has been at the core of its success for 30 years. The shop has won countless national drag-racing titles and tuned a wide range of motorcycles to great success on everything from roadrace courses to the Bonneville Salt Flats. “We are proud to offer this level of contingency in AMA Pro Road Racing,” says Brock’s Performance president, Brock Davidson. “As a former national-level competitor, I understand the value of strong contingency programs for racers, and that’s where all of the money goes–straight to the racers.” Brock’s Performance sells 810 exhaust systems for 35 late-model sportbikes. They range from simple, lightweight slip-ons to its top-of-the-line CT Series™ of high-end, titanium, full exhaust systems that combine state-of-the-art materials and manufacturing techniques with race-proven performance.
