From a press release issued by The Sportbike Company: The Sportbike Company (TSC) is very pleased to announce that it has been contracted to manage the unique 2008 Buell Inside Pass Track Days and on-track demonstrator program for 2008. TSC will manage all facets of the program designed to bring track day enthusiasts and the latest Buell motorcycles together in an exciting non-competitive endowment at ten track facilities across North America. TSC has also been contracted to provide lead instructors and curriculum for the Buell program. TSC is also the proud promoter of the Femmoto women’s track day events held in Las Vegas, NV. The three partners forming The Sportbike Company have been involved with motorcycles and the powersports industry for years. Bonnie Strawser, Monte Lutz and Robert Pandya will all bring their past expertise together to develop and deliver an outstanding program not only to Buell, but to every attendee of the event series in 2008. ” We are excited not only about working with Buell,” Says CEO Monte Lutz, ” But also about the challange of building this new company with a focus on OEM event management. Years ago when we started Sportbike Track Time, we thought it would be a nice local business and help fill our and our friends need for speed. Little did we realize the growth in the sportbike industry and the stunning technical progress would make riding in a closed – course environment such a bike part of Motorcycling that it is now.” Bonnie Strawser, CFO added, “Through Sportbike Track Time we assisted with many brands in hosting private track days, dealer events and press introductions. Launching The Sportbike Company was the natural progession for us to fulfill the needs for a specific niche while continuing to still host hundreds of track days through Sportbike Track Time.” “I am looking forward to working more with Monte and Bonnie,” says TSC President Robert Pandya. “I have known them for years, and we have worked together on building up Femmoto to where it is today. In the capacity of working with some many brands over the years, we fully understand the needs of both the manufacturer and the motorcycle enthusiast.” While TSC is a young company, the principal partners combined have worked with Aprilia, Honda, Moto Guzzi, Triumph, Harley-Davidson, Buell, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Hyosung, KYMCO, Victory, and dozens of dealerships across America in the past six years.
