EAST TROY, Wis. Buell Riders Adventure Group (BRAG) hosted its annual Homecoming Rally in East Troy, Wis., June 2-4, 2006. Buell motorcycle owners enjoyed a weekend full of BRAG-related events including Buell Motorcycle Company factory tours, technical seminars, a free bike wash, lunch with Buell employees and a fun-filled, sunny race weekend at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis. The weekend kicked off at Hal’s Harley-Davidson/Buell in New Berlin, Wis., with a hearty breakfast. Enthusiasts participated in a meet and greet with Hal’s Thunder Eagle Race Team in Hal’s Speed Shop. Erik Buell, Chairman and Chief Technical Officer of Buell Motorcycle Company, signed autographs on Friday, June 2, in East Troy from 1 p.m.- 2 p.m.. Owners watched first-hand how Buell motorcycles are built on a self-guided factory tour through Buell’s East Troy facility on Friday, June 2. Buell owners were invited to relax over lunch with Buell employees between technical seminars that day. Two Buell dealer teams competed in the AMA Formula Xtreme race at the AMA Superbike Championship event at the Road America course aboard their XBRR race bikes. BRAG members were also invited to hang out at the BRAG hospitality tent with live closed circuit TV coverage of the event. Buell owners and motorcycle enthusiasts also had the opportunity to test ride a new 2006 Buell. Nearly 400 people test rode a Buell motorcycle over the course of the weekend.
